The upcoming 15th season of the 2022 IPL will feature two new franchises, one of which is the Gujarat Titans. In anticipation of IPL 2022, the Gujarat Titans have unveiled their logo. The logo is shaped like a kite, and it is designed in shades of blue and gold. Gujarat Titans have chosen the form of the logo in the form of a kite for a reason. This choice is dedicated to the famous kite festival in Ahmedabad. Also on the logo is the name of the franchise itself, accented with a white lightning bolt.
Gujarat Titans presented their logo in an original way. The team recorded a video in which captain Hardik Pandya, head coach Ashish Nehra and opening batter Shubman Gill discuss the design of the logo and what it symbolizes regarding the franchise.
In the presentation video, team coach Ashish Nehra says the logo represents the fervor and spirit of the team, and the lightning bolt represents the team’s fervor, energy, and sheer power. Captain Hardik Pandya adds that the shape of the kite also resembles the mountain that the Gujarat Titans are constantly and successfully moving up. To the words of the previous speakers, Gill adds that the identity of the team includes the Gujarat kite, which is not just a hobby, but a way of life.
As for the logo for the second new franchise in the upcoming season, the Lucknow Super Giants, it is a blue bat with tricolor wings and the team name in the center.
